Again, much useful information in this module that can be adapted to the classroom. I use youtube frequently with my Special Needs group as it is so visual. Above is one I used to introduce the text type- Procedure.
I have used the Audacity program but I can see the benefit of incorporating the podcasts.
The Radio National site was interesting listening and I'll try to save on mp3. The link to the kids podcasts will provide examples for my group when we record and make podcasts on our interviews next term.
I downloaded music onto my ipod- directly from itunes and from cd's. Time consuming but fun!
After listening to the digital storytelling sight- Story Nory- my children recorded the narratives they had written. They were encouraged to imitate voices of different characters, show expression and read clearly.

Module 3
Google docs opens up a whole new approach to shared learning in the group situation. It promotes collaboration between students and teachers. I will use it with my Spec. Needs groups as a tool for gathering input from all members. After discussing various uses of Google docs with our group that meets to do web 2 each Thursday afternoon, I intend to get started using docs as soon as possible.
Maybe start with adding a visual to the doc and ch'n. add their own adjectives to describe the image.

Module 2
Thank goodness- all us web 2 members are meeting each Thursday afternoon to give each other support which is very beneficial for all.
The benefits of blogs are endless. In the classroom my special ed. children love seeing their thoughts published for all to see. They are actually enthusiastically writing responses to others' blogs. I have set up blog sites for each Spec Ed grade to interact .They all love to write about what is happening in their classes and share with others.

Module 1
Well, I haven't blogged in a long time, so here goes.
It's a little overwhelming to actually see the vast array of technological advances that our children are growing up with. The course will be a great opportunity to learn about and use some of these in the classroom and for my own use.
